About Us

Hello! My name is Rachel Rodekohr. I began Yellow Maple Toy Shop in 2025 with the purpose of providing parents and grandparents with a place where they can find reliably high-quality, non-toxic toys that are educational and engaging. While all of our toys are not necessarily labeled as "Montessori", we only choose products that promote creativity and imagination in children. We especially like imaginative toys relating to music and kitchen play.

My husband and I got married in 2024 and we are currently expecting a baby boy due in February 2026! So, we can certainly relate to the difficulty that parents face as they look for toys that will not merely clutter up their homes, but boost their child's imagination and brain development. Our goal is to provide parents with those toys.
